District 15 Representative
Who is Lauren Jones?
Transparency and Accountability
Government should answer to the people — not operate behind closed doors. I believe in honest leadership, clear communication, and real accountability at every level of public service. Our community deserves transparency, responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars, and leaders who will always put the public first.
Healthcare and Immigration Reform
I believe Georgia families deserve a state government that tackles real problems with practical solutions. On healthcare, that means expanding access to primary care, mental health services, and rural healthcare so families are not forced to drive hours or wait too long to get the care they need. We should support policies that strengthen our healthcare workforce, invest in local hospitals and clinics, and help make care more affordable for working families. On immigration, we need a balanced approach that upholds the law, strengthens public safety, supports legal pathways to work, and recognizes the role hardworking people play in Georgia’s economy. I believe we can lead with both compassion and common sense while building a stronger, safer, and healthier Georgia.
People First
I believe leadership begins with people first. Government should never lose sight of the families, workers, and neighbors it is meant to serve. When we lead with compassion, integrity, and common sense, we build a stronger community and a better future for everyone.
I am a devoted wife, mother of three, and proud member of the Bartow County community. Professionally, I work in the supply chain industry as a freight broker, assisting businesses in efficiently moving goods and supporting our economy’s backbone.
Born in Georgia and raised in Nebraska, the mountains of North Georgia always felt like home. After high school, I returned to Georgia to pursue higher education before embarking on the most significant chapter of my life—starting a family.
My husband and I chose Bartow County as our home, where we are raising our three children: Ansley (12), Jeffrey (8), and Kairi (2). Like many families here, we cherish the simple joys of our community—watching our kids play outside until the streetlights come on and enjoying the harmonious blend of quiet country living and the conveniences of a growing city.
For several years, I have actively participated in organized community advocacy and peaceful protests, standing up for the issues that matter to our community. I firmly believe that when community members speak up and collaborate, meaningful change becomes possible.
We didn’t just want to live in this community—we wanted to invest in it. That’s why my family and I have committed ourselves to being active members of Bartow County. We are always seeking ways to strengthen, support, and advocate for the place we proudly call home.
What I believe?
Affordability
I believe affordability is about protecting the quality of life our families work hard to build. No one should feel like they are falling behind just trying to pay for housing, groceries, healthcare, and everyday necessities. I will fight for practical solutions that ease financial pressure, strengthen opportunity, and help working families get ahead.
